The Hive Early Learning Centre Torquay is a family owned long day care service, designed to provide a rich and diverse range of experiences that promote a child's learning and development while giving children unlimited options to play.

We are looking for a qualified early childhood educator and early childhood teacher who hold a certificate 3, diploma or bachelor qualification in early child care to join our team.

Requirements for role:

- Cert III or Diploma or Bachelor qualified in childcare (Experience as a childcare educator will be highly regarded)
- Current First Aid qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma
- Prior knowledge and experience will be highly regarded (Not Necessary)
- Have highly developed organisational and communication skills
- Current WWCC (employee) or VIT registration (if bachelor qualified)

In this role, you will:

- Contribute to the planning of an education program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from birth to six years of age
- Work co-operatively with other educators, families and early childcare professionals to provide a safe, caring, engaging and stimulating environment for children attending the service
- Be creative, engaging and inclusive with children and foster the belief that children are strong, competent and capable citizens who are full of wonder and curiosity to learn (Reggio Emilia Approach)

**As per the mandate, Early childhood education and care (ECEC) workers are required to have had 2 doses of a Covid-19 vaccination and their 3rd booster vaccination.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 37.5 per week
