**Financial Analyst**:
**About Us**
Chemist Warehouse is Australia’s largest retail pharmacy group, with over 17,000 employees and more than 600 stores nationally. Our expanding international presence in New Zealand, Asia, and Europe means now is the perfect time to join us.
In addition to our retail success, Chemist Warehouse operates a significant wholesale arm through Sigma Healthcare - one of Australia’s leading full-line pharmacy wholesalers and distributors. Sigma Healthcare’s operations supply medicines to pharmacies across the country, supported by a vast network of logistics, 3PL, and supply chain teams.
Right now, we’re navigating an exciting chapter - bringing together the scale and brand power of Chemist Warehouse with the wholesale strength of Sigma Healthcare. This is your chance to be part of a period of change and innovation that will shape the future of our supply chain operations.
**The Opportunity**
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, this role offers unique exposure to both our retail and wholesale supply chains. You’ll be the go-to finance partner for our Logistics, 3PL, and Supply Chain teams - providing high-quality reporting, in-depth analysis, and commercial insights that guide decision-making at every level.
Your work will span Chemist Warehouse retail operations and Sigma wholesale distribution, giving you the scope to influence performance across one of Australia’s largest pharmacy networks. You’ll be analysing key cost drivers, improving our cost-to-serve models, and supporting strategic projects such as 3PL tendering and customer profitability analysis.
**What You’ll Do**
- Partner with operations teams to interpret results and identify opportunities
- Prepare accurate, timely reporting for leadership and the board
- Analyse cost drivers and provide insights on fixed and variable costs
- Lead stock provision calculations and support budgets and rolling forecasts
- Contribute to 3PL tender processes and analyse customer profitability
- Support and refine cost-to-serve models and drive continuous improvements
**About You**
- CA/CPA qualified with at least 5 years’ relevant experience (FMCG or similar preferred)
- Strong financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering skills
- Advanced Excel skills (Power BI an advantage)
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Proactive, results-driven, and confident working in a fast-paced environment
**Why Join Us?**
This is more than a finance role - it’s an opportunity to work at the intersection of retail and wholesale during one of the most dynamic periods in our history. You’ll see the direct impact of your work across two major pharmacy operations and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking team.
