**THE APPRENTICESHIP WILL INVOLVE**: - Planting, building and renovation of gardens - Grassed areas - soil preparation, laying of turf - Paving and building retaining walls - Maintaining properties and structures - Operating skid tree loaders and other equipment and machinery - Undertaking irrigation and drainage systems and maintenance activities - Undertake Construction work **REQUIREMENTS**: - Understand the importance of workplace health and safety - Physically able for labour intensive work - Have good communication skills - Enjoy practical work - Construction White Card - Manual Driver’s licence required & reliable Vehicle - Two professional references - Successful applicants will be required to pass an aptitude test, and a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing. **Community Solutions** is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland. We provide apprentices and trainees important career guidance and opportunity to earn while they learn. Dedicated Field Officers are assigned to apprentices and trainees to provide ongoing support to completing their chosen trade qualification. Formally TORGAS.
