**About the role**:
As the Statutory Planning Officer, you will provide advice and support to district, regional and corporate teams in relation to statutory planning matters, land transfers, land use authorisations, Native Title, and Land Use Activity Agreements (LUAAs) to ensure that planning decisions are compliant with legislation, policy, and guidelines. Supporting the Regional Coordinator - Land Use and Statutory Planning, your position ensures that internal and external stakeholders, customers, and the community are provided with professional advice and service in relation to land use and statutory planning matters. In support of Parks Victoria's Commercial Services and Legal teams, you willl also provide advice and support for leases, licences, permits, consents, and other land use authorisations, under relevant legislation, as required.

**We are looking for someone with**:

- Demonstrated experience in analytical problem solving and preparation of reports and recommendations on varied land use and planning issues.
- Demonstrated effective stakeholder management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in provision of expert and technical advice and support, particularly demonstrating an understanding and interpretation of planning schemes and relevant legislation.
