Female Support Worker

**Support needed 7 days a week**

**Location**: Glendalough, Western Australia
**Shifts**:

- **Morning**: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
- **Evening**: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM

**About the Role**

We are looking for a kind and reliable **female support worker** to assist a **Indigenous woman** living in Glendalough. This support includes helping with daily routines at home and going out into the community.

You will be working as part of a weekly roster with support required every day of the week. We are looking for someone who is mature, respectful, and happy to build a trusting relationship with the participant and her family.

**Main Duties**
- Help with personal care (e.g., showering, dressing)
- Support with **bladder and bowel care** (training can be provided)
- Prepare simple meals
- Drive the client to appointments and activities (using your **own Sedan car**)
- Support outings to the shops, local events, and the gym
- Help with transfers in and out of the car and moving her wheelchair
- Support the participant in learning how to use public transport
- Attend medical appointments with the participant

**Requirements**:

- Must be a **female**:

- Must have a **reliable Sedan car** (no SUVs or hatchbacks please)
- NDIS Worker Check
- Police Check (within last 12 months)
- First Aid & CPR
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19
- Good understanding or experience working with **Indigenous clients** is welcomed and valued

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
