Sydney, Australia Durkin constructions Full time

Durkin are currently seeking motivated **Surveyors at all levels ** to be part of our innovative, dynamic and growing **Geospatial** team. Duties include (but are not limited to):

- Topographic surveying
- Control surveying
- Utility Surveying
- 3D Scanning and 3D modelling
- Augmented Reality
- CCTV and Concrete Scanning.

**The ideal applicant will have**:

- Excellent time management;
- Enthusiasm and commitment to working with Fast paced and growing company
- Have a Min Diploma in Surveying or equivalent from an Oversees University Recognised by BOSSI;
- 1-3+ years’ experience in a similar role would be ideal ;
- Previous exposure to 12d and 12d Field software will be highly regarded but will be **Trained**:

- Operating knowledge of Trimble or Topcon Survey equipment;
- Have an Australian Permanent Residency Visa/Citizenship
- Have an Australian Drivers Licence (C-Class)
- Be physically fit to carry out field works and be happy to undergo pre-employment medical checks*
- Be flexible with time to work night shifts and occasionally on the weekend when required
- High level of communication skills in English (Verbal & written)
- High level of attention to details
- Be able to work with no/mínimal supervision

We are prepared to put the right people through Tafe if they are passionate about pursuing a career in Surveying

Remuneration package will include a fully maintained Company Work Vehicle. A market-competitive base salary is negotiable commensurate to experience and skills. The position will start as a 3 months' trial, then converts to a full time permanent position if both parties were happy to proceed.

We require a person with a minimum of 1 years experience in Utility Surveying on site. A degree or diploma in Surveying is preferred

We are a growing business with opportunities to gain strong technical skills and also to progress into Supervisor and management roles

Our industry is fast paced and diverse. We work all over NSW in sectors such as roads, highways, airports, railways, ports, building sites. There are many challenges to overcome but high satisfaction levels upon successful project delivery

It is essential that all Utility Surveyors are disciplined and responsible as well as being creative and very good at problem solving. Damage to underground assets can cost millions of dollars and possible fatalities and all employees need to understand this.

We work both day and nightshift and occasional weekends and employees need to be flexible in this regard.

All applicants need to have a visa that enables them to work full time in Australia with no restrictions

All employees need a NSW manual driving licence

**Salary**: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour
