A great opportunity exists for enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a can-do attitude to join our busy Melbourne Service Department as a Sprinkler Fitter / Tester. This position involves the routine testing (up to and including 5-yearly testing) & minor repairs of a variety of fire protection systems including Sprinklers, Hydrants, Pumps and other building safety features throughout the region as required.

The role will require the successful applicant to be able to plan, organize and, from time to time, work autonomously or in a team environment.

**Key qualities we are looking for but not limited to include**:
Victorian Building Authority registration as a Sprinkler Fitter is essential
(applicants well advanced in their apprenticeship will also be considered)
Knowledge and understanding of all types of fire systems including Pre-action and Deluge (would be well regarded)
Self-motivation and an ability to work unsupervised
Strong focus on quality and client satisfaction
A strong focus on safety
Team player
Willingness to participate on a limited on-call roster
As this position involves regular contact with customers applicants must have good personal presentation and effective written and verbal communication skills
Current Driver’s license (essential)
