New greenfield Advanced Water Recycling Centre and associated infrastructure which will provide wastewater services and recycled water for the Aerotropolis, Western Sydney Airport and Southwest Growth Areas.

The project will include the Design, Construction and 10yr Operation of a Wastewater Treatment Plant and an Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant, which will produce:

- High-quality treated water suitable for recycling & environmental flows to an ultimate capacity of 70ML/d
- Biosolids suitable for beneficial reuse
- A new 25km pipeline from the AWRC to Sydney Water’s existing wastewater system to discharge brine.
- A new 16km pipeline from the AWRC to the Nepean River, to release excess treated water.
- This project will be one of the most technologically advanced wastewater treatment plants in the Southern Hemisphere.

**About the Role**

We are currently looking for an experienced** Planner** to lead us through project start-up and project delivery. Reporting into the Planning Manager, you’ll be accountable for providing project start-up and project delivery planning expertise to our Upper South Creek Project.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Establish and manage the process of planning, creating detailed programs and monitoring project and plan performance.
- Work as part of the bid team and/or construction team, be part of delivering successful and innovative planning outcomes.
- Interface with project team, client, stakeholders, vendors and subcontractors for management of the planning function in accordance with established procedures
- Ensure monitoring and reporting of Project Controls processes are successfully set-up and implemented on projects
- Implement project monitoring systems, particularly focussing on time, cost, resources, and quality (project controls and earned value). Ensure that planning & controls reports generated across project provide maximum cost and time forecasting
- Proactively contribute to the planning and controls culture across the project based on best practice and with a focus on risk management and cost control.

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**:

- Tertiary degree, preferably in one of the following disciplines - Engineering, Construction, Building or Project Management or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in Engineering, Construction, Planning and Project Controls
- Use of planning software & tools such as Primavera Project Planning, Time Chainage Charts, Earned value and Cash Flow Analysis
- Strong organisational and communication skills
