**PURPOSE**

To work on joinery manufacturing in the factory as instructed.

**SUPERVISE**

Supervise Apprentice as required.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

Joinery manufacture - ability to make high end bespoke joinery to meet our expectations of quality;
Work from drawings - be able to work from architectural drawings and create your own cutting lists;
Material take offs - use good practice for efficient material yield;
Order Preparation - provide lists of materials, hardware and consumables so they can be ordered prior tobeing required;
Time Management - understand and demonstrate the ability to be able to meet the required deadlines whilst sometimes working on multiple jobs;
Eye for detail - be able to match materials and timber grains to achieve the best visual outcome possible;
Quality Control - have an exceptional eye for detail ensuring that the job is completed to the required standard before leaving the factory;
Prepare for loads - once the job is complete it needs to be suitable packed or wrapped with all necessary drawings and hardware that the installers require;
Stock control - be responsible for Inventory, allocate and replenish stock items so they can be charged out to the correct job;
Receive deliveries - receive materials, check off before signing for them, put away goods in their allocated areas;
Participate - attend toolbox and team meetings, provide feedback;
Timesheet - you will need to keep a daily log of hours spent on each job for budgeting needs;
Housekeeping - keep the workshop and machinery clean at all times to maintain a safe working environment, empty bins as needed;
Safety - understand and adhere to the company WHS safety management plan and report any concerns immediately;
Security - switch off machines and lock up the factory at the end of each shift;
Planning - Forward thinking is a requirement when being part of a small team;
Site Work - you will be required to work on site from time to time, when required; and

Training - there may be a need for our tradesman to provide instructions, training and guidance when working with apprentices or labourers.

**EXPERIENCE**

Relevant Joinery Experience;
Certificate in Cabinet Making (or equivalent);
Attention to Details (essential);
Computer Competencies: (Microsoft Office) ideal but not essential

Ability to read and understand architectural, consultant and shop drawings;
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
Team player;
Ability to follow instruction and work independently;
Passion for producing quality outcomes;

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Certificate I - IV (required)

- Joinery: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:
