We are currently looking for a Full Time Sales + Design Consultant to join our team. As a Sales + Design Consultant, you will provide the highest level of service and advice to your customers. With a showroom that encourages customers to feel at home, and an amazing team behind the scenes ensuring that quality products are provided, you will be able to sell with confidence. You will be responsible for fashioning a creative sales environment that enhances the buying experience through the provision of product knowledge and design assistance.

What you’ll do:
Provide great customer service, assisting customers with their selections and driving sales through product knowledge- Maximising sales growth through creative selling skills, teamwork and customer service, delivering an engaging experience to every customer- Master the necessary sales and product knowledge to enable you to effectively resolve inquiries about product purchases, and customer service- Conduct in-store and virtual styling consultations with retail customers, assisting with product selection accordingly- Create and track quotes in our internal quoting system-
- Be organised, reliable, and committed- Build relationships with Icon By Design’s client base- Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders- Conduct interior design meetings- Full-time hours, including one weekend day

We are looking for:
A strong sales person with retail experience (furniture sales experience highly regarded)- A background or interest in Interior Design (formal education not a strict requirement)- Superb communication and presentation skills- Stand out sales and relationship building skills- Positive attitude, showing initiative and drive- The ability to work well in a team- Approachable personality and a high degree of enthusiasm- Intermediate computer skills (experience in Google Suite, and POS)- Passion for Mid-Century and Scandinavian furniture- Experience with B2B/Trade customers will be highly regarded
