**About the role**:
Juniper Aged Care is actively seeking detail-oriented and experienced Kitchen Hand to join our dedicated team at** Juniper Chrystal Halliday** on a **permanant part-time basis**. The primary purpose of this role is to provide assistance in the kitchen, preparing food, and keeping the kitchen area clean and compliant with food safety requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and presenting breakfast, lunch and dinner in accordance with resident requirements/ preferences
- Providing kitchen hand services at the facility such as modifying food texture and apportioning food accurately
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas and equipment
- Adhering to Juniper’s Occupational, Safety and Health requirements

**Key Requirements**:

- Must have valid work rights in Australia
- Previous experience in a commercial cooking or aged care catering
- Safe food handling practice and hygiene standards with experience in maintaining cleanliness
- Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, customers, and team members
- Knowledge of relevant chemicals and safe handling practices and procedures for cooking operations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
