TechFinishes is an established Gold Coast based company specializing in commercial & residential tile installation.

Due to a high volume of work we are looking for tilers to work in the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Brisbane And Sunshine Coast

The Role:
Perform maintenance tiling and tile installations

Be responsive to demands while delivering a high quality of tiling work.

Dealing with issues on building sites.

Qualifications / Experience required:
AQF Certificate III or higher OR equivalent or at least 2 years of relevant high-level experience.

Tasks include but are not limited to the following:
examining plans, measuring and marking surfaces and laying out work

preparing wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout and adhesive, filling holes and cracks, and cleaning surfaces

spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles, and setting tiles in position

using tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges and corners, and around objects such as fittings and pipes

ensuring tiles are correctly aligned and spaced

grouting tiles, and cleaning and removing excess grout

may lay floors of granolithic, terrazzo, cement or similar composition depending on the job requirements

may lay colored tiles in patterns to create mosaics depending on the job requirements
