Receptionist

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist for a 12 Month fixed term period, 38hrs per week. For a busy orthopaedic Surgeon located in Kippa Ring. Hours are Monday to Friday predominately 8.00 - 4.30, Occasional early start or late finish may be required on clinic days. Experience in medical/dental practice is preferred.

**Responsibilities include**:
Greet patients in a friendly, courteous and professional manner,

Answer and manage incoming calls.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, operation bookings and associated documentation

Liaise with external doctors and hospitals and their staff

Data entering

Patient invoicing and payments including Medicare, DVA and Workcover

Reconciling Eftpos and banking

General Office administration duties

Maintain and tidy the reception waiting area and consulting rooms

**Skills and Experience**:
1 years minimum medical and or dental reception experience

Experience using Blue Chip/Medical director software or equivalent would be a advantage

Excellent telephone manner

Ability to be empathetic to patients

Self motivated, reliable and trustworthy

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
