**About Us**:
Terranova, based in Hurstville Grove, has been operating for over 35 years providing horticultural maintenance and landscaping services to high end strata properties ranging in size from small boutique buildings to some of Sydney’s largest and most prestigious strata complexes.

About the Role:
Due to expansion, we require an experienced full-time Gardener to join our small friendly garden maintenance team. Applicants must have genuine interest, a good attitude and be willing to expand their horticultural career. We are seeking a person with at least 2 years of work experience.

**Duties**:

- Mowing, edging, hedging, blowing;
- Controlling weeds, watering and green waste removal;
- Soft landscaping - Installation of new plants, replenishment of soil and mulch, installation of drip irrigation;
- Preparing lawn areas by spreading top soil and planting grass, or laying instant turf;
- Shaping tree branches by using chain and handsaws;
- Spraying and dusting plants and trees to control insects and disease.

The majority of properties serviced are located in the inner city and southern part of Sydney.

Skills & Experience - Essential:

- Current driver’s license (to drive automatic ute) - experienced, careful driver with good driving record
- Proficient in use of power gardening equipment
- Minimum 2 years’ practical experience
- WHS White Card (or willing to obtain) with awareness of safety procedures at all times
- A responsible and positive attitude with enthusiasm for the role
- Good attention to detail
- High level of physical fitness
- Good work ethic - punctual, reliable and honest
- Excellent time management with ability to work to a schedule
- A friendly, outgoing manner with ability to communicate with onsite contacts and Building Managers

Skills & Experience - Desirable:

- Certificate 3 Horticulture or similar
- Good plant knowledge and identification
- Familiar with operation and basic maintenance of irrigation systems or willing to learn
- Experience in soft landscape installations
- Previous strata maintenance experience or experience in large scale properties
- You will have the ability to adapt to a high-paced environment at times, several buildings are often serviced in the same day
- Any other relevant Certificates or Accreditation
