**Laborer responsibilities and duties**
- Lift heavy loads and navigate construction job site terrain
- Preparation for job site construction
- Operate heavy machinery, including construction vehicles
- Identify utility lines
- Perform setup and clean-up tasks at the job site
- Direct traffic when necessary to ensure the safety of pedestrians, motorists, and work crew
- Back-fill trenches and pits when necessary
- Provide labour support as needed for specialty crew

**Laborer qualifications and skills**
- 2+ years’ construction industry experience preferred
- Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures, and practical experience with tools
- Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle
- Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
- Comfort working in a high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
- Great hand, eye, and foot coordination
- Willingness to learn and be flexible.
- Positive attitude and great interpersonal skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 32-48 per week

**Salary**: $700.00 - $1,200.00 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Sydney Western Suburbs NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Construction: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- White Card (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
