Our client, an award-winning Global Technical Services firm deeply embedded in Defence, requires a Project Support Officer with 4-7 Years expertise for an ongoing Defence programme in Canberra. This role is offered on a Contract basis and require a minimum NV1 Security Clearance.

**Responsibilities**
- Have a well-developed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks & Defence Project Management Methodologies
- Experience with government & defence level decision making
- Accountable for organising workflow and independent decision making in their own area of work.
- Provide advice within the Project Control function based on legislation, policy and procedures.
- Undertake specialist research and analysis while performing administrative support work to achieve results
- Project Support Officer will conduct & coordinate work effectively, contributing to the team while providing methods of task completion.
- May be required to engage with stakeholders, respond and provide advice on issues to achieve work unit and defence outcomes.
- In addition to the Project Support Officer primary role, you will support the centralised Operations team, providing ad-hoc business support services across all projects.

**Essential**
- **Current NV1 clearance**.
- Appropriately qualified in and experienced in project support.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Well-developed Defence writing skills.
- Resilience in a highly demanding, constantly changing work environment.

**Highly Desirable**
Defence, Military or Aerospace domain experience highly desirable.
