**Schedule**:7.6hr shift Monday to Friday between the hours 06:00 and 18:00 with occassional overtime and out-of-usual hours as per the operational needs

**About the Role**
- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Performing routine diagnostic assays using manual processes and automated equipment while adhering to documented procedures
- Specimen storage and retrieval
- Equipment maintenance and operation
- Maintenance of records
- Assist with stock control
- Maintain confidentiality of customer

**About You**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:

- Previous laboratory experience, preferably in diagnostic testing, is desirable
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Sound understanding and management of internal quality control principles & practice
- Sound semi automated pipetting skills
- Sound analytical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work effectively as a team as well as individually
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
