Butcher

Zisti's Poultry is seeking an experienced Butcher. This position is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation of our poultry store and preparing poultry for selling.

This position will be reporting to our Store Manager and the job description includes but is not limited

to
- Preparing poultry for selling: cut, slice, marinate and present it to our customers.
- Creating other poultry meat products such as sausages and crumbed items. So going through

the process of mincing the meat and then putting it through the skin.
- Slicing chicken breasts into schnitzel slices and crumbing them for sale.
- Packaging prime cuts of poultry meat and managing the butchery's supply chain, including
- Stock maintenance and weekly stocktakes. This includes packing all orders for our customers who own restaurants, cafes and other mixed businesses.
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitization of the butchery and equipment. This includes

sanitising the work area and the whole shop.
- Ensuring accurate and attractive displays and signage. This includes presenting the fresh and clean poultry in the display for sale.
- Training team members and apprentices by sharing knowledge of poultry meat preparation techniques and cuts.
- Adhering to food safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Providing customer service and sales assistance to customers regarding poultry meat cuts.

About you:

- Be a trade-qualified butcher (preferable)
- Possess strong customer service skills, creating an exceptional experience for every customer.
- Have a high standard of personal presentation and cleanliness
- Have good attention to detail
- Happy to work within a team environment
- Great customer service skills including a good work ethic.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
