**About Your Role**
- The Data Delivery and Operations Manager oversees and manages the data engineering, integration, and operations teams within the organisation. In this role, you will lead a team of data professionals, including Senior Data Engineers and Data Platform and Operations Engineers, to ensure the data platforms' security, efficiency, and reliability.

This individual works closely with key stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data solutions, optimising processes, and maintaining the highest data quality and security level. The Data Delivery and Operations Manager is pivotal in aligning data strategies with business goals, collaborating across departments, and driving continuous improvement.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Develop and implement data delivery and operational strategies in alignment with organisational objectives.
- Manage and coordinate the work of direct reports, including Senior Data Engineers, ensuring timely delivery of projects and high-quality outcomes.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritise data requirements and ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Oversee the maintenance, monitoring, and enhancement of data platforms and infrastructure in collaboration with Senior Data Engineers, Data Platform, and Operations Engineers.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards, working closely with the Legal and Governance Office and CyberSecurity teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains, driving the implementation of innovative solutions in collaboration with the Senior Data Engineers and other direct reports.
- Promote a data-driven culture and foster cross-functional collaboration, supporting data-driven decision-making within the organisation.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to the data engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of PEXA's data infrastructure and platforms, including managing the EL-T pattern and integrating toolsets.

**What you’ll bring to the table**:

- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in data management and data delivery, with at least 4 years in a people leadership role.
- Strong understanding of data engineering, data integration, and data operations principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with data platforms, ELT/ETL tools, and data warehousing technologies/methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with data governance, data security, and privacy regulations.
- Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Leadership: The Data Delivery and Operations Manager should possess strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, inspire, and manage a team of data professionals. They should also be able to provide guidance, mentoring, and support to their direct reports.
- Results-driven: The Data Delivery and Operations Manager should have a results-driven mindset, focusing on delivering value and meeting the needs of the business. They should be able to prioritise tasks and projects based on their importance to the organisation.
