**Job Description**:
We are seeking a reliable individual to join our team as a front of house Butcher Shop Assistant. In this position, you will play a vital role in our locally owned and operated butcher shop, and provide excellent customer service to our valued customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, including display counters, equipment, and work areas
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering inquiries, and assisting customers in selecting the right cuts of meat.
- Process and pack customer orders to specifications in a timely fashion
- Participate in regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety

About our ideal applicant:

- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for measuring and weighing meat portions
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to health and safety guidelines
- Experience with using social media tools and creating posts
