This organisation is a reputable manufacturing company operating in Australia for over 20 years. They are looking for a Credit Claims Officer to join their growing, collaborative team.

**Your new role**
This role supports the companies customer facing function by managing incoming customer claims and deductions.

Some of your duties will include:

- Management of Customer claims and deductions
- Validation of customer claims requests
- Ensure process is followed and data is accurate
- Work internally to address any claims related enquiries, errors or anomalies.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement
- Other day-to-day ad hoc duties and support as required

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need:

- Ability to work with large value accounts
- A commitment to timely customer service and payment processing
- A proactive team player with strong work-ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Adaptable and able to embrace change
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume end-to-end Accounts Receivable or Claims functions (minimum 3 years)
- Knowledge of SAP Business One (preferred), or experience & adaptability with other ERP software systems, Microsoft Office
- A sound understanding of basic accounting principles and GST
