**Child Care Opportunity in School Hours**

Are you looking for part time or casual work in a child care centre? We are looking for people that are interested in working in our beautiful learning environments to either assist in the running of our rooms or Lead our rooms. This position would suit people looking for **school hours positions** who love children and being part of a team.

**The Centre**

**The Woods Early Education Centre** is located in Ashgrove, just 250 metres from Ashgrove State School. Our Centre opened in January 1998 and cares for up to 90 children aged from birth to 5 years. We are passionate about sustainability and love to explore these practices with the children in our care. The Woods Early Education Centre is part of Queensland Childcare Services with 23 centres across the south-east Qld region.

**Position requirements**

The successful applicant must have a strong desire to provide high quality care and great communication skills. Suitable applicants must be able to meet the following criteria;
- Hold/studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood minimum or be willing to undertake study - **we will provide this course and cover these costs for you in full**:

- Hold a current blue card
- Hold a current first aid, CPR & Asthma Anaphylaxis training or be willing to obtain - **once again, we will provide this for you**:

- Be motivated & enthusiastic
- Demonstrate a high level of communication skills and maintain a professional manner in the workplace
- Above all be passionate about living a healthy lifestyle as this is imperative to be a role model for the children in our care

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00 - $38.00 per hour
