We are searching for a picker/packer and driver to join our growing team at a major Melbourne wholesale fruit and vegetable company based in East Melbourne.

Thanks to our combined family experience and long-standing client ties in the hotel business, we are a market leading provider of fruit and vegetables in Victoria.

We transport vegetables six days a week using our company-owned refrigerated fleet. Our delivery drivers are responsible for preparing their own orders, loading them onto vehicles, and delivering them.

From start to finish, our drivers maintain strict quality control to ensure that our clients are entirely satisfied with our products and services.

**Beginning early in the morning (12am-3am) and finishing by lunchtime.**
**Monday through Friday, with the option of Saturdays.**

**Your main responsibilities will be to**:
**Delivery truck loading and unloading**
**Deliver orders to customers on a regular basis.**
**Collaboration with other team members to aid with stock management and other warehouse activities as needed may be one of your other obligations as a team member.**

**You must possess the following abilities in order to join our team**:

- Exceptional driving skills
- Ability to provide excellent client service
- Reliable and capable of working as part of a team as well as independently
- Working hard and being able to work in a fast-paced environment are important. Learn to read and follow directions.
- Heavy-lifting capability (20kg)

**Requirements**:

- A valid driver's licence (auto or manual)
- ABN (Australian Business Number)
- It is preferred, but not needed, that you have prior experience with fruits and vegetables.
- Positive outlook

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Subcontract

Pay: $69,000.00 - $80,444.00 per year
