**T**HE OPPORTUNITY**

TAFE NSW is looking for industry qualified, experienced and passionate teachers of Information Technology to join the team and contribute towards the future of IT industry. These positions will be primarily based at the Glendale campus but will require occasional travel to support teaching at Newcastle and Maitland campus as required.

The role of the TAFE teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the education process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**A**BOUT YOU**

You are passionate and motivated about sharing your extensive industry experience and skillset with students and are knowledgeable on current and upcoming trends and industry requirements in information technology. You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor students, passing on your experience and knowledge, and have demonstrated experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment both face to face and through connected learning platforms as required.

To be considered for the role you will have:

- Diploma (or above) in Information Technology with specialisation in programming or networking
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
- Minimum three years post qualification experience within the last five years
- Demonstrated commitment to maintaining professional currency
- Comprehensive current knowledge of the industry with a strong understanding of current trends and diversity within the Vocational Education and Training sector.
