**Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic - South Metro Depot**

As a Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic at our South Metro depot, you will focus on the repair, servicing, and maintenance of Western Power's heavy vehicle road transport and plant machinery.

**Your Role in Action**
- Performing routine and major repairs on road transport vehicles and plant equipment
- Ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and in compliance with industry standards
- Conducting planned and unplanned work, including, inspection, fault diagnosis and rectifying problems related to the servicing and maintenance of Western Power’s heavy vehicles

**What Makes You a Great Fit**
- Demonstrated industry experience as a Heavy vehicle / Mobile Plant Mechanic
- Experienced in diagnosis and repair of hydraulics / low voltage electrical.
- Highly developed teamwork skills - Must be able to work as part of a high performing team.
- Valid WA ‘C’ class licence (essential)
- Valid WA ‘HR’ Driver’s License (Desirable)
- High Risk licence class EWP (Desirable)
- High Risk licence class Dogging (Desirable)
- High Risk licence class Forklift (Desirable)
- Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Certificate classes HVW and LVW (willing to obtain with first 6-months)
