**Support Workers Needed**

We are seeking reliable, friendly, energetic individuals who are looking for a rewarding role as a Support Worker.

**About the Role**
- This role of the support worker is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting Change Care’s clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes:_
- Working autonomously to provide appropriate levels of support to maintain and improve the client’s level of independence. This may include community participation, skill building, vocational preparation, relationship building, and various other needs.
- Respond to the client’s needs and collaborate positively with their families, support people and others in their lives.
- Keep accurate and complete records of activities via progress notes
- Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct

**Who you are**
- To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who is reliable and consistent, has a Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent or is prepared to obtain one ), and the following attributes:_
- Working with Children Blue card
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- First aid + CPR Certificate
- An understanding of NDIS and a commitment to its principles
- Ability to work in partnership with NDIS participants to achieve their goals
- A passion for assisting individuals with a disability to improve their quality of life and to reach their potential
- Driver's Licence and own car, and a willingness to use for transporting clients (where required)
- COVID-19 Vaccination, it is a Queensland Government requirement that all individuals working within Healthcare Settings, including Disability Support Services are vaccinated against COVID-19, or evidence of medical exemption.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Flexible hours
- Morning shift
- Public holidays
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
COVID-19 Vaccination, it is a Queensland Government requirement that all individuals working within Healthcare Settings, including Disability Support Services are vaccinated against COVID-19, or evidence of medical exemption.
