Providing trade assistance towards the upkeep, installation, and troubleshooting of all plant and machinery, with a focus on safety, efficiency targets and mínimal downtime.

The role will involve the following responsibilities
- Onsite mechanical work - welding and fabrication
- Ability to assess and implement safety procedures
- Undertake proactive and preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and repairs on manufacturing equipment
- Liaising with other trades, contractors, maintenance, and production management
- Maintain stock levels of spare parts and consumable items to assist in production
- Update and maintain preventative maintenance records on works carried out
- Actively seek opportunities to improve operations performance whilst improving system reliability and reducing overall downtime
- Mentoring/ training of apprentice

**Requirements**:

- Applicant should be capable of heavy lifting - this is a hands-on roll.
- Trade qualification and experience required
- Forklift licence would be an advantage
- Restricted electrical licence would be an advantage

Compensation is negotiable based on experience, with the option to tailor a package that may include a company-provided dual cab utility vehicle.

Requirements for Sponsorship:

- Have advanced English language skills and must be able to effectively communicate technical information over the telephone and in a training setting.
- Have extensive, hands-on experience in machine trouble-shooting, repairs and maintenance
- Be able to complete a paid work trial of no less than 2 months before being offered full time work and sponsorship

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00 - $98,000.00 per year
