**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Care Worker to join our vibrant team of educators. You will be responsible for supporting the implementation of educational programs, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children, and maintaining a caring and inclusive learning environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for early childhood development, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
**You will need to perform the following duties**:
- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children aged 0-5 years in both indoor and outdoor settings
- Assist in planning and implementing play-based educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Support children’s physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development through intentional teaching and nurturing interactions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Observe and document children’s learning progress, behaviours, and development milestones
- Communicate positively with children, families, and staff, building respectful and supportive relationships
- Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks in accordance with dietary and hygiene requirements
- Support the inclusion of children with diverse backgrounds and developmental needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and model respectful, kind, and empathetic interactions
- Collaborate with educators and management to continuously improve service delivery and outcomes for children
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, centre policies, and the National Quality Framework
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working with young children in an early childhood setting
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Valid Working with Children Check and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a dynamic learning environment

Pay: $33.50 - $36.45 per hour
