Procurement Specialist

**About the role**

Join a fast-growing company, Amazon Power Pty Ltd, who are leaders in their field of food import and distribution. We are experiencing a growth curve and need a **Procurement Specialist **on a full-time basis to join our team.

This role reports directly to the Supply Chain & Operations Manager to deliver functional strategic approaches for categories, specifically Distribution. You will be responsible for executing category strategies and standardised processes to drive regional leverage, create value, and deliver opportunities.

As a **Procurement Specialist** in Logistics & Distribution,

Your duties will include the following:

- Implement Supply Chain strategies across the region including goal setting and KPI’s
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks in the Distribution sourcing landscape
- Manage relationships with key suppliers/vendors, fostering partnerships, new business opportunities and driving continuous improvement
- Project management and implementation of Distribution strategy
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers/vendors, optimizing costs and quality
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to Distribution activities
- Analyse assigned procurement categories
- Work closely with the Australia’s team and Brazil suppliers’ team
- Achieve savings targets

**Skills and Experience**
- 2+ year’s experience in a supply chain or distribution sourcing role
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree or higher education qualification
- Extensive supplier performance and relationship management skills
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial aptitude
- Excellent analytical skills
- Clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Effective stakeholder management

**Salary**: 85k plus superannuation, full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Procurement: 2 years (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
