Hays client is a small family orientated business with a great workshop with modern machines and technology. They are a large provider to the mining industry and the local building industry. With a huge variety of different works, including engineering specialised cars. **Your new role**

In your new role you will be based in the factory with occasional trips out to site. Your day to day will consist of setting up and running machinery for manufacturing as well as installation, repair, and replacement of parts. You will oversee start checks and general maintenance as well as fabrication of specialised tools and equipment as required.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this position, you will need to have the following.
- Trade Qualified fitter/turner
- The ability to repair, maintain and operate large machinery
- Operate specialised tools to manufacture parts
- Experience in hydraulic cylinder repairs
- Experience in machining and welding
- Experience with CNC machines (plasma profile cutter, CNC dragon, semi CNC press brake)
- Manual lathing and milling machining
- Certified forklift operator or overhead crane ticket advantageous not essential
