Are you passionate about preserving the craft of classic car restoration? Do you want to make a real difference by passing on your skills to the next generation?

**Modern Classic Cars Foundation** is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to ensuring the future of the specialist vehicle industry. We provide **cost-free, supportive and hands on apprenticeships** for young people entering the trade, covering their tools, equipment, and training costs.

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced **Automotive Trimmer** to join our team.

**About the Role**

In this hands-on role, you will:

- Carry out high-quality trimming and upholstery work on classic vehicles (1920’s - 1990’s).
- Restore and repair seats, door trims, carpets, headliners, and soft tops.
- Share your knowledge and skills with apprentices, helping to guide and mentor the next generation of specialist tradespeople.
- Work collaboratively with other restoration specialists (mechanics, panel beaters, paint and auto electricians).

**About You**

We are looking for someone with:

- Proven experience as an automotive trimmer, ideally in classic or specialist vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.
- A willingness to mentor apprentices and support the Foundation’s training mission.
- Pride in producing high-quality, lasting results.
