**Job Summary**:
The 4x4 Accessory Salesperson is responsible for selling a wide range of 4x4 vehicle accessories and parts. This role involves interacting with customers to understand their needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. The salesperson will also be responsible for maintaining product knowledge, managing inventory to meet their sales, and contributing to the achievement of sales targets.
**Skills / experience required**:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or 4x4 accessory industry.
- Strong knowledge of 4x4 vehicles and accessories.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A valid driver’s license
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent customer service skills with “next level” problem solving ability.
- A passion 4x4 vehicles and the trade, touring and towing opportunities they provide.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales and Customer Service**
- Assist customers in selecting 4x4 accessories and parts that meet their needs and preferences.
- Provide detailed information about product features, benefits, and compatibility with various 4x4 vehicles.
- Handle customer enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Create quotes and sales orders ensuring parts, labour, and timeframes (including parts availability and bookings) are accounted for accurately.
- Ensure the follow up of customer quotes.
- Closely monitor customer needs to identify new sales opportunities.
**Product Knowledge**
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of 4x4 accessories, parts, and industry trends
- Stay informed about new product releases and technological advancements of those products.
- Stay informed about new vehicle releases and the compatibility of existing products with those vehicles.
- Investigate the features of new vehicles and their model variants to ensure product compatibility with technological advancements.
- Research, ask questions, and participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance product knowledge.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
