Pinkenba, Australia Wagners Full time

Wagners are currently seeking a suitably qualified Permanent Full-Time Maintenance Fitters who have a strong, personal commitment to safety and is willing to expand on their current skills. Working a Continuous Shift Roster which will consist of a rotational basis between day and night shift, each shift will be 12 hours in length. There will also be an opportunity to work overtime from time to time.

Our Maintenance Fitter is primarily responsible for undertaking the general maintenance and servicing of the Pinkenba Cement Plant as well as the following:

- Horizontal Ball Mill
- Vertical Roller Mill
- Belt and Screw conveyors
- Storage Silos
- Bagging Shed
- Dust Collectors
- Oxy cutting and welding of materials
- Assembly and modification of plant and equipment
- Diagnose and rectification of mechanical faults
- Implementation and continuous improvement of safety initiatives

**To be considered you must possess the following**:

- A strong safe work ethic
- Relevant mechanical trade qualifications in Fitting & Turning/Mechanical Fitter/Fitter Welder
- Experience with computerised maintenance systems
- Experience working within an engineering fabrication environment
- Possess flexibility, adaptability and versatility of approach to handle changing work requirements
- Ability to establish and manage working relationships with Directors, Senior Management Team and Wagner employee
- Continuous manufacturing processes
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Integrity, Initiative and attention to detail
- Friendly, positive and enthusiastic attitude
