**Case Manager, Study Melbourne**
- _ Salary: $97,955 - $111,142 (Plus Superannuation)_
- _ Fixed term role: until 17 December 2026_
- _ Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)_

**The Role**
- This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified social worker (or similar qualification) to join the Study Melbourne Hub, Victoria and help deliver a suite of welfare support services to international students whilst they study in Victoria.
- Working as part of a close-knit team, the position is also responsible for fostering a welcoming environment for international students visiting the Hub, giving presentations to students and stakeholders, and undertaking a wide variety of work across the team including project delivery.
- The responsibilities of the Case Manager will include:

- Providing intake, assessment and casework services to international students, which are informed by social work theories and frameworks.
- Ensuring that all casework, financial and project files are maintained to high standards including appropriate levels of client contact, communication, professional documentation, record keeping, data collection and storage.
- Delivering services that are culturally responsive and support the empowerment of international students.

**The Team**
- The position of Case Manager, Study Melbourne forms a part of the Trade, Global Engagement, International Education and Migration branch within the Industry, Trade, and Investment group.

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience undertaking intake assessment, case planning and referrals within a well-developed practice framework including risk assessments. The ability to maintain client files to high standards including the management of professional documentation, appropriate record keeping, data collection and storage.
- Demonstrated and well-developed interpersonal communication skills that show empathy, non-judgment, discretion and an awareness of professional boundaries in responding to clients, team members and stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both promotional (presentations) and educational events and for effective casework delivery.
- A relevant tertiary degree in Social Work or other related discipline is a mandatory requirement to be eligible for this role.
