**About the role**:
CSR is committed to leading the way in sustainability, and we're looking for a **Decarbonisation Manager** to drive our ambitious climate and emissions reduction strategy. Reporting into the Head of Sustainability, this role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate sustainability professional to make a real impact by implementing decarbonisation improvements and ensuring alignment with corporate sustainability goals and regulatory requirements.

As the **Decarbonisation Manager**, you will be responsible for:

- **Developing and Implementing Strategy** - Leading the execution of CSR's decarbonisation strategy, setting measurable targets, and driving actions towards achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 or earlier including coordinating the Climate Working Group.
- **Data & Reporting** - Managing emissions assessments (Scope 1, 2 & 3), preparing NGERs submissions, and annual climate disclosures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Regulatory Compliance & Standards** - Ensuring adherence to environmental regulations, carbon pricing mechanisms, and sustainability standards across operations.
- **Sustainability Initiatives** - Identifying and implementing energy-efficient solutions, sustainable materials and innovative technologies to reduce embodied carbon of CSR's products to enable sustainable certifications.
- **Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement** - Working closely with operations, R&D, procurement, logistics, customer solutions and marketing teams to integrate sustainability into product development and manufacturing processes.
- **Monitoring & Continuous Improvement** - Establishing key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting manufacturing sites in implementing key projects to decarbonise CSR's operations and reduce embodied carbon of products.

**What you bring to the role**

**To be successful in this role, you will bring**:

- 5+ years' experience in a similar role, ideally in manufacturing, infrastructure, or property sectors.
- A degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A strong track record in delivering decarbonisation strategies and sustainability initiatives.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to interpret standards and implement change effectively.
- Strategic thinking with hands-on experience in driving systems and meeting sustainability standards.
