**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support to individuals with ASD, ADHD, and mental health conditions, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community participation.
- Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and other health professionals, ensuring alignment with NDIS goals.
- Actively engage clients in a variety of recreational, social, and community activities to encourage independence and social inclusion.
- Support individuals with complex behaviours using behaviour management strategies and techniques.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and respectful environment, ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of clients at all times.
- Ensure compliance with Child Safety regulations and best practices to safeguard the clients’ wellbeing.
- Document client progress, behaviours, and incidents accurately in accordance with organisational policies and NDIS requirements.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay updated with NDIS guidelines, best practices in disability support, and relevant industry standards.

**Essential Qualifications and Skills**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience as a Support Worker or in a related role, working with individuals with ASD, ADHD, and mental health challenges.
- Proven experience with complex behaviour support and adherence to Child Safety protocols.
- Ability to engage clients in meaningful activities and assist them in their participation within the community.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and other professionals.
- Energetic, motivated, and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of others and supporting clients to achieve their goals.
- Sound working knowledge of the NDIS framework and experience using community-based supports to achieve client goals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Current Drivers Licence and the ability to provide transportation for clients, as needed.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a clear Working with Children Check, National Police Clearance, and NDIS Workers Screening.
