We are looking for a Disability Support Worker to **work in the Keilor / St Albans / Sunsine area. Variable shifts, mostly weekdays, mostly day time shifts. Variety of hours are available. Many on call / replacement shifts.**

We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Disability Support Worker to provide care and supervision for our clients located in the Keilor, St Albans and Sunshine area (other suburbs also may be needed).

Applicants must be experienced with a responsible attitude. The successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support an individual living with a disability. You must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life and independence. You will need to be compassionate and empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful and the ability to connect with people with behavioural challenges.

**Qualifications & Experiences**

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic Support Worker with the following:

- Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or relevant
- Current First Aid / CPR Certificate
- Driver licence
- NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Working With Children Check

**Key Responsibilities & Duties for Disability Support Worker**
- Provide individualised support to our clients using a supportive and positive approach
- Variety of tasks: domestic assistance, personal care, transport, community outings
- Motivate and promote clients' independence
- Assist the clients with their emotional, psychological, cultural and spiritual needs
- Provide transport when required
- Make sure our client is HAPPY

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
