The Transport Operations Supervisor **(based in Ingleburn)** is a pivotal member of the Transport team and is responsible for effectively supervising company drivers in their designated Transport HUBs and Branch Operations. The role is responsible for driving our strong safety culture, improvement, efficiency and capability of the transport function. The role is required to work closely with Transport Operations Manager and branch operations network to monitor costs, ensure high vehicle utilisation and supervision of driver's labour and productivity. This role does require travel within the Sydney Metro region.

**Your new role awaits**:

- Supervision of company drivers includes but not limited to - monthly toolbox talks, ordering driver uniforms, injury management, driver site inductions and driver compliance with LMS modules.
- Working closely with Transport Operations Manager - Metro / Transport Manager NSW, Transport HUBs and Branch Operations teams to ensure all disputes relating to transport are addressed and resolved in a timely and effective manner
- Ensure compliance by drivers to all relevant transport and safety policies, procedures, standards, regulations and legislation
- Supervision and monitoring of Safety KPIs and communications with company drivers.
- Planning major events transport - site inspections, pre-event meetings, rostering of drivers for out of hours transport.
- Supervision of driver labour costs, productivity, hours and ensuring they are compliant

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification/s.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong transport operations / logistics knowledge
- Strong knowledge of OHS & transport legislation and regulations
- Use of an asset, inventory or purchasing system
- Demonstrated results in improving safety culture through all aspects of the transport function
- Demonstrated experience in achieving operational excellence and influencing change
