_**Medirest provides specialist food, hospitality and support services to residents and patients in hospitals and senior living facilities. We believe that going the extra mile isn’t the exception, it’s the expectation.**_

**Your day-to-day tasks might include**:

- General hospital cleaning duties as required such as discharge cleaning, ward cleaning, collection of waste
- Receiving work requests from our internal helpdesk team to assist with urgent cleans or additional tasks around the hospital
- Use of carpet extractor and steam cleaning machines
- Pressure washing of external surfaces and furniture
- Use of floor scrubbing machines including walk behind scrubbers and ride on scrubbers (used mainly during night shifts)

**About you**:

- Previous cleaning experience and excellent attention to detail
- Experience with commercial cleaning equipment is highly desirable
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Great communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check Clearance and provide proof of immunity for vaccine preventable diseases, including COVID vaccinations
