Pick/packer and Alterations Specialist

Alamour The Label is an evening, formal, and resort wear fashion brand. We design every piece in-house & ship it to the world from our head office location in Woolloongabba, Brisbane. We are known for our extravagant cocktail & formal styles, worn by celebrities worldwide.

We are currently seeking a pick & packer team member that also specialises in alterations. The perfect team member will prepare customer orders, be our in-house alterations specialist and assist in all other areas of our warehouse.

This casual role requires someone that enjoys working in various areas to assist and contribute to our online team and is available to start immediately.

**What will you be doing?**
- Picking & packing orders using PDA Scanners.
- Checking products when required as part of the quality assurance process and preparing them perfectly for our customers.
- Professionally repair and alter garments.
- Wash and spot clean garments when needed.
- Organising inventory locations and registering stock back into inventory.
- Conducting stocktake when required & auditing of stock.
- Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the warehouse space.

**What we are looking for?**
- Must have experience working with clothing - Preparing/folding/quality assurance.
- Must have proven sewing and alteration skills.
- Physically fit and able to work on their feet for a majority of the day.
- Able to lift up-to 15kgs and confident to operate a picker machine at various heights.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to type fast and work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- A positive, can-do attitude that is a team player and willing to help in various roles if needed.

**Requirements**:

- Must have sewing and alteration skills - with expert knowledge in sewing and fabrics.
- Being able to communicate proficiently verbally and written - with a strong work ethic.
- Ideally live locally to Brisbane CBD

**Remuneration & Employee Benefits**
- General Retail Award rate (Based on applicant's experience and age)
- Casual employment operating Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm.
- Position is based in Woolloongabba, Brisbane.

**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 37 per week
