- **Lead our Sales Team to Success**

At DeLaval Pty Ltd, we are looking for you to be our new Country Manager - Sales. This is the perfect opportunity to join a team that is both passionate and empowered. Spearheading change, inspiring others, enabling the sales team, and leading by example is what this role is all about.

Reporting into the VP Market Area South/Southeast Asia & Oceania, the office is located in Port Melbourne. So, on the days you’re in the office you’ll get in quickly thanks to our highly accessible location.

**Your future primary tasks and responsibilities**

As the Country Manager - Sales, you will be responsible for sales commercial targets across Australia. You will coach, develop, and manage the sales team to ensure that commercial sales targets are achieved and exceed. You will be responsible for formulating and executing strategic plans in conjunction with your colleagues within the operational management team.

Furthermore, we expect you to:

- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting business partnerships with customers, key accounts, and industry bodies.
- Develop a deep understanding of the market we serve and associated industry trends.
- Leverage continuous improvement principles appropriately to drive efficiencies within the sales team.
- Provide timely and accurate forecasting.

**About you**

In order to be successful in the job, we expect you to come with solid sales experience as a B2B sales executive, sales manager or sales and marketing director selling capital equipment. We always work on continuous improving - so we expect you to have a mindset that supports this.
- **_Education_**: Tertiary qualification in agriculture, veterinary, chemistry, Business or similar field is preferred but not essential.
- **_Skills_**: Pride yourself on your “bedside manner” with all levels of customers: in-person, on the phone, and in written form. You must be a highly skilled in sales and marketing with evidence of building successful business/ customer or client relationships.
- Adeptly prioritize and reprioritize based on the evolving demands of all internal and external stakeholders
- **_Characteristics:_** Thrive in the unknown - and have a track record to prove it. You take a consultative sales approach to uncovering farmer's problems and then know how to position yourself as a trusted advisor to our farmer's;
