**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working with cellular carriers on carrier certifications.
- Experience working with telecom carriers/device makers, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies.

**Preferred qualifications**:

- Experience in cellular technologies (e.g., 3G, CSFB, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, 5G VoNR, CA, EN-DC, mmWave, spectrum/band assignment, logging and log analysis).
- Experience in Android (e.g., collecting logs, flashing, sideloading, ecosystem, user experience).
- Experience in field test engineering with Australian carriers.
- Understanding of Australian carrier requirements and documentation/certification processes and Australian carrier network capabilities.
- Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

**Responsibilities**:

- Interface between Australian and internal carriers such as Taiwan Engineering teams.
- Drive handset defect resolution, defining next steps with the broader Engineering teams, and leading activities to resolution.
- Deliver software submissions and schedules to carriers.
- Understand changing carrier requirements and align Pixel products with existing and new network and handset features.
- Review and complete compliance matrices, specification documentation and industry standard/regulatory deliverables.
