**Job Overview**:
As a Mechanical Engineering Technician, you will work closely with our engineering team to assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems and products. Your role will involve working with various mechanical components, creating technical drawings, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring that projects meet both quality standards and deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the design and prototyping of mechanical components and systems.
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Support engineers in the development of mechanical products by conducting tests and gathering data.
- Perform hands-on tasks including assembly, disassembly, and testing of mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist in resolving problems.
- Conduct material and component analysis, ensuring that designs meet specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
- Assist in creating reports and documentation for ongoing projects.
- Maintain and organize technical equipment and lab resources.

**Qualifications**:

- Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Mechanical Engineering Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA).
- Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, equipment, and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other engineers and team members.
- Knowledge of mechanical testing methods and instrumentation is a plus.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and assembly.
- Certification in relevant mechanical technology fields.

Pay: $92,000.00 - $100,507.40 per year
