**The Position**

As 2IC - Assistant Manager you will support the Venue Manager with all operations of this Head Office owned site. You will train and develop your team to provide an exceptional guest experience. You will assist to control labor costs and COGs in line with company standards. You will play an important role in maintaining and building the mature and well established team with future possibility of expansion and running your own venue. The Venue Manager will teach and support you so that you can run the business. With Head Office located interstate in NSW, you & the Venue Manager will be reporting back on performance, making suggestions for improvement and feedback on menu and operations. The venue is licensed and is not table service.

Additional to helping run the café, supporting the Venue Manager and supervising your team the jobs within this role will include but are not limited to:

- Creating Beverages (Coffee, Juices, cocktails & more)
- Serving customers / Taking orders
- Communicating with fellow team members & more

You will be an experienced 2IC (assistant manager) who is up for a new challenge. You will have led teams in a fast service environment that is still heavily customer service focused. You will be able to communicate how you train your staff and the type of leader you are. While supporting the Venue Manager with the smooth running of your venue is paramount, your daily practice will see you on the floor and behind the bar along side your staff and this is where you thrive. We need you to be able to start ASAP.

**Salary**: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
