Opportunities are available to join dynamic and innovative teams that play key roles in the regulation and evaluation of internationally and domestically manufactured medical devices. As part of the Medical Device Branches, you will contribute to the vision of the Health Products Regulation Group (HPRG) ‘Better health and wellbeing for all Australians through regulatory excellence’ and the wider Department ‘Better health and wellbeing for all Australians now and for future generations.

There are **multiple roles within the Medical Device Authorisation and Surveillance Branches.** Contribute to HPRG's vision through monitoring and assessing medical devices, undertaking quality, safety, performance analysis and investigation and reviewing activities for post-market regulatory monitoring and reforms; and keep abreast of emerging technology and adoption in medical devices and monitoring against the necessary regulatory framework. The Medical Device Branches are also responsible for evaluating medical devices, including in vitro diagnostic tests (IVDs) and other therapeutic goods, to ensure they meet an appropriate level of quality, safety and performance.
