**About Our Client**:
A national body representing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and medical students, focused on equitable health and life outcomes for Indigenous people. We do this by working towards reaching population parity of Indigenous medical students and doctors; and supporting a culturally safe health care system.
- Support the successful delivery of the Cultural Safety Program including:
- Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the Cultural Safety Program.
- High profession standard in delivery of the Cultural Safety Program to support participants and facilitators.
- Oversee workshops logistics, resources, and materials.
- Provide feedback to the Cultural Safety Programs Coordinator
- Provide project support on duties associated with our Online Cultural Awareness course.
- Provide reporting, briefings papers and presentation.
- Ensure that the medical colleges Continuing Profession Development (CPD) accreditation points are updated and maintained.
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of current and historical issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
- Communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples
- Other duties within your capabilities as directed.
**The Successful Applicant**:
**_ Skills and Experience _**
Essential
- Demonstrated awareness of the importance of cultural safety, preferably within the context of the health or education systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing work priorities in order to deliver quality outcomes within short time frames and with mínimal supervision.
- Communicate with Cultural Safety Program Coordinator to ensure and include that:
- Workshops operate in an efficient manner for facilitators and participants - evidenced by smooth operation, all materials and resources are distributed.
- Identify any issues that may arise in the Cultural Safety Program operations, stakeholder engagement and any potential problems in the delivery of the face to face or the online service - evidenced by moderate risk to the overall progression of the Cultural Safety Program.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, online eLearning systems, online booking systems and other software used to deliver programs, or an ability to learn systems quickly and effectively.
- Ability to use initiative and problem solving to achieve results in accordance with practices and policies.
- High level attention to detail
- Ability to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team to meet key deliverables.
Desirable
- Knowledge and experience working across health care and services sector providing care to Aboriginal and/ or Torres Strait Islander Peoples
- Experience in the development of training programs, including online and face to face or hybrid models.
- Experience and knowledge of the utilisation of online platforms designed and delivered for online learning including Learning Management Systems and its functionality.

**What's on Offer**:
A salary of $75,000 - $78,000 plus 15% Superannuation.
