**THE ROLE**:
The Patient Liaison Officer is a valued member of Calvary Mater Newcastle (CMN). As a Patient Liaison Officer you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Day Centre treatment team under the direction of the Nursing Unit Manager.
**DUTIES**:
- Perform administration functions relevant to the department.
- Schedule Cancer Treatment appointments according to patient’s treatment plans and ensuring accuracy.
- Meet and greet staff, patients and visitors using a friendly and professional manner.
- Communicate important issues arising.
- Assist clinical staff with administrative matters.
- General administration duties as required.

**ABOUT YOU**:
- Advanced Customer Service skills, including frontline/reception duties with demonstrated communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience and a high level of computer literacy in a windows environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and process a high volume work load, whilst maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and quality improvement.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
