**Position: Casual Medical Receptionist**

Location: Tugun (Mon-Wed) + Optional Southport (Thurs-Fri)

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts | Casual position.

Gold Coast Neurology is seeking a friendly, organised, and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our professional team. If you’re passionate about healthcare and thrive in a fast-paced medical environment, we’d love to hear from you

**Availability**
- Must be available Monday-Friday or Monday-Wednesday
- Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

**Key Responsibilities**
- Greeting patients and managing reception
- Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
- Billing patients and handling EFTPOS payments
- Scanning, faxing, and updating patient records
- Supporting doctors and the practice manager
- Promoting our practice to local GPs
- Managing referrals, theatre lists, and operation reports
- End-of-day billing and general admin tasks

**What We’re Looking For**
- 1+ year of experience in medical reception/administration (essential)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Friendly and professional phone manner
- Confident multitasking and working under pressure
- Great communication and computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Genie software (preferred, not essential)

**Work Location**
- John Flynn Private Hospital, Tugun,Gold Coast: Monday to Wednesday

**Work Requirements**
- Must have working rights in Australia
- Relevant experience in healthcare or medical admin

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: From $29.99 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
