**Waste Collection Operator - Afternoon Shift**

Citywide is recruiting for a **Waste Collection Operator (Afternoon Shift)** to work within our prestigious open space contract in Melbourne’s CBD. In this role, you will be responsible for the collection of general waste and recycling from within the high-profile parks and gardens of the CBD.
- Shrine of Remembrance Depot
- Afternoon Shift 11am to 7pm
- Weekends and Public Holidays - 2 days off during the week

**Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Waste and recycling collection from parks, gardens and depot bins
- Collection of general waste and recycling as separated and dedicated runs
- Wiping down bins
- Removal of loose litter inside the bin surround
- Transporting and disposing of waste at approved facilities
- Daily vehicle checks as per log book requirements
- Wash vehicles on a daily basis
- Maintain good relationships with the client and all stakeholders
- Ensure the safety of self, others and the general public
- Flexibility to work from 3am to 11am to cover leave and for training purposes

**Skills and experience required**:

- Current Victorian Medium Rigid Drivers Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Experience interacting with customers
- Problem solving skills
- Time management skills
- Working With Children Check
