**The Opportunity**

Mount Hospital is currently seeking a professional and customer/patient-focused Food Service Assistant (Team Leader on some occasions) to join the busy team.

We offer a supportive atmosphere and an extensive education program so you can grow in your role and achieve a work-life balance. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.-
- Monday to Sunday from 6.00 am to 2.30 pm or Monday to Sunday from 5 am to 1.30 pm
- Night shifts from 2.30 pm to 9.00 pm
- Occasional weekends

**Key functions include**:- Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
- Checking the patient's diet and allergens to comply with food standard requirements
- Assisting in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
- Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment following hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

**About You**

You will be a great team player who is willing to learn and enjoys working in a supportive multidisciplinary team.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:- Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services or similar
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
